About Principal

Dr. S. A. Sreenivas is the Professor & Principal of A. G. M. College of Pharmacy, Varur, Hubballi. He had completed B.Pharm from Bapuji College of Pharmacy, Davangere, Karnataka, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics specialization from K.L.E.Ss College of Pharmacy, Belgaum, Karnataka and Ph.D. from Kuvempu University, Shivamogga, Karnataka, a reputed Government University respectively.

He has been in academics since 2004 working in various capacities. To his credit, he has published more than 42 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals and presented 38 research papers at various national and international conferences. He has guided 42 plus M. Pharm. students and 11 Ph.D scholars for the award of degrees. He has organized two National conferences, one International conference, three faculty development programs, three technical fests etc. He has actively contributed in publication of two Indian Patents.

He has received financial grants of worth 27 Lakhs from AICTE, New Delhi (12 Lakhs for Research promotion Scheme, 8 Lakhs for Entrepreneurship Development Cell and 7 Lakhs for Industry Institute Partnership Cell) and 4.2 Lakhs from UGC, New Delhi for different schemes.
